Emerson Logistics Pet Transport (ELPT)

1. Services
* Emerson Pet Transport (“ELPT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides professional pet transportation services, including local and long-distance ground transport, as scheduled and agreed upon with the client.
* ELPT does not provide veterinary, medical, or grooming services.
2. Booking & Payment
* Any initial payment made at the time of booking is considered a deposit. A final invoice will be issued after trip completion to account for additional mileage, requested services, or extended wait times that were not included in the original booking.
* If there is a difference between the initial estimate and the final invoice, full payment of the remaining balance is due within seven (7) days of trip completion.
*Pricing is determined based on distance, pet size, number of pets, and any special care or handling requirements.
*All quotes are valid for a limited time and are subject to change if trip details are modified.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
* Deposits are non-refundable once a booking is confirmed.
* Cancellations made within 24 hours of scheduled pickup may result in forfeiture of all payments.
* ELPT reserves the right to cancel or reschedule trips due to weather, safety concerns, vehicle issues, or circumstances beyond our control.
4. Pet Health & Documentation
Clients are responsible for ensuring that:
* Pets are healthy and fit for transport
* Required vaccinations, health certificates, and documentation are provided when applicable
* Pets are properly disclosed (including size, breed, temperament, and medical conditions)
* ELPT reserves the right to refuse transport if a pet poses a safety risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
ELPT will take reasonable care of all pets during transport. However:
* ELPT is not liable for illness, injury, escape, or death caused by pre-existing conditions, pet behavior, or circumstances beyond our control.
* Liability is limited to the amount paid for the transport service.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
* Provide accurate pickup/drop-off information
* Be available at scheduled times
* Supply necessary food, medications, and instructions
* Delays caused by client unavailability may result in additional fees.
7. Photos & Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing, clients grant ELPT permission to use non-identifying photos or videos of pets for marketing and social media purposes.
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the states in which ELPT operates.
